L’ Dorado is another brand new addition to the rapidly expanding food truck culture in the city. L’ Dorado which means Golden in Spanish stands true to its name. Rashi Majithia & Prateek Shetty have given Pune city another reason to smile. They are a power packed duo giving the usual dishes a very flavorful twist!
Location: Parked right outside Hotel Mahabaleshwar, next to Subway on Baner Road. You can easily spot the Vibrant Golden Truck on all days (except Tuesdays) parked from around 4pm to 11pm.
P.S Residents of Baner don’t have an excuse to miss this while for all others – it’s actually worth travelling that extra mile. It’s definitely a visit you won’t regret!
Read on to know what makes this Golden Food Truck, L’Dorado stand out –
1. Value For Money :
VFM would actually be an understatement. This Food Truck is incomparably cheap when compared to the ones I have tried in the city. Food Trucks should frankly , give you that food trip you need, without ripping you off – and L’Dorado does just that!
P.S Eat to your heart’s content and be stunned with that Bill. Also, they accept cards which kind of makes them very cool &sought after in the present scenario 🙂
2. Snack Sized Meals:
You planned to visit here for a snack-on- the-go but you will be happily surprised to see their dishes fill you up – with flavor and happiness! I’m a fan of their serving portions. Every single dish is served with generosity, which is totally worthy of appreciation.
3. Cuisines from Across Continents :
They serve Puneri Fries, the Lebanese Baba Ghanoush, the Irish Ginger Ale, the Greek Chicken Souvlaki! Good Food cannot be restricted by borders and L’ Dorado has the best to offer from every place, rather than being Cuisine specific.

1. Ginger Ale
Price: INR 40 ; Rating : 3/5
This drink originating from Ireland is known for its numerous medicinal benefits and is served at L’Dorado in its most simplest form. It’s chilled and very gingery, those who don’t have a knack for ginger should skip this.
2. Fiery Fries
Price: INR 120 ; Rating : 5/5
I’m not a fan of fries but the ones served here have made me change my mind. The Fiery Fries are hot, cheesy and gooey enough to melt your heart before they melt on your tongue. You are going to be licking your fingers. #BlessMeLater #MustTry
3. Disco Fries
Price: INR 150 ; Rating : 4/5
A very creative and delicious take on your regular fries especially for meat lovers. The chicken is extraordinarily soft and luscious. Fries loaded with meat, cheese and mayonnaise is the most unique combination that I have tried recently.#Highly Recommended
3. Chip n Dip
Price: INR 100 ; Rating : 4/5
I am a digger for Mezze Platters and the Baba Ghanoush served at L’Dorado is definitely the best I have tasted in the city. Served with Pita Bread, the dips – hummus, baba ghanoush and Labneh were perfect in looks, taste and portions.
4. Barbeque Chicken Wings
Price: INR 160 ; Rating : 5/5
6 succulent pieces of heaven served with their house barbeque sauce is definitely their star dish. Impressive taste which leaves a mark instantly, L’Dorado can give a lot of places serving wings a run for their money. #LPLFavorite
5. Ghee Roast
Price: INR 160; Rating : 5/5
The dish is ‘to-die-for’, its absolutely nothing like the burger you have ever tasted.! The marinated chicken is absolutely flawless. The burger is slightly on the spicier side. Try it with the sweet bun for the perfect crunch. (You can choose either a pita bread or our desi pav instead of the bun)
6. Chicken Souvlaki
Price: INR 140; Rating : 4/5
Bite sized chicken cubes grilled on skewers and served inside a sweet bun. A unique blend of sauces and meat which lends a very fresh taste – light on the palate and not spicy at all.
7. House Special
Price: INR 140; Rating : 4/5
For all those who are fed up of your regular ‘veg patty’ or ‘Aloo patty’, try the House Special to delight your senses. Best when had in the pav, there is a scrumptious patty awaiting you. #MustTry
Price: INR 150; Rating : 5/5
A must have for vegetarians. The ‘No Cutlet’ Burger. Stuffed with crunchy vegetables and fries – the crunchy bunchy has completely changed the burger scenes for vegetarians. #LPLRecommends
9. Stoners Delight
Price: INR 100; Rating : 3/5
Also, popular as “Hello To The Queen”, the dessert is frozen vanilla ice cream topped with dry fruits and chocolate. The ice cream is exceptional but the dessert as a whole was just about satisfactory.
LPL Tip: Wait for the ice cream to melt a little before you scoop in, the ingredients on the Queen would blend a little better!
