Kravings At KARGO

Kargo Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

How often do you discover a place which exceeds your expectations? A place serving appetizing and flavorsome food, at one of the most sought after locations in the city. A place which leaves you stunned by their reasonable pricing, without compromising on the ambience and hospitality.

Without a doubt, KARGO is definitely THAT place.

It won’t be an overstatement to call it a Foodie’s Paradise. They swept me off my feet with each passing dish – each one being unique and equally endearing. A slight glance at the menu and you know you’re going to have a gala time devouring those delish items.

Ambience (3.5/5)

Moving On, the ambience is simple yet fashionable. Anyways you won’t have the time to gaze at the walls or ceilings once your server gets the delectable food at your disposal.
The seating area has been divided and you will easily notice the change in the two halves. The more elaborate arrangement is for the reserved tables. If you happen to just walk in, there is a high probability that you wouldn’t even get lucky. Reservation is ‘Highly’ (with a lot of emphasis) Recommended. Owing to the rising rush and customers flocking them pretty early, they might even turn you down around 7 pm if you are planning Dinner later in the evening!

LPL Recommends

  • Chilli Lime Corn Wheels
  • Buttered Cottage Cheese Naanza
  • Lamb Yassa Naanza
  • Chicken Ramen Soup
  • Smoked Garlic Chicken Cannelloni
  • Spiced Rubbed Fish
  • Chicken Roulade
  • Mango & Lime Panna Cotta

If they serve the Food right, everything else makes up for it. That’s the KARGO experience. The Menu is a fine combination of Starters-Sides, All Day Dining options, Italian and Grills. The drinking options for non-alcoholics is appreciable and for the kind of pricing that they have – I’m a FAN!

P.S A moment of silence here for all those times that ‘budget friendly’ restaurants have ripped me off on the pretext of Overpriced Mocktails and Lemonades (My weakness) They always had me cursing, Why Lord! Why! I could have had a complete dish for that amount!!

Ramen with Asian Veggies
It’s the classic fresh noodle soup but, with refreshing flavors. A great integration of flavors especially the soya sauce and spring onions which make this a great appetizer and boost your hunger too! Totally loved sipping onto this one.

LPL Update : The Chicken Ramen Soup is a #MustTry, especially during these winter nights.

Buttered Cottage Cheese Naanza
A take on the traditional flat bread or Naan which has the looks and the taste of a pizza. A dish having the best of both worlds. The cottage cheese was fresh and soft, reminded me of Delhi which is very generous with the quality and helping of it’s dairy products.  #LPLFavorite #MustTry

LPL Update : After trying the Lamb Yassa Naanza, there is no other option I would recommend. Absolutely delicious and you will love the soft shredded pieces of lamb with the flavor of oyster sauce.

Chicken Roulade
One of the best chicken roulades that I have ever tasted. Absolute perfection! The chicken was very well cooked and the exquisite cheese-mushroom stuffing still has me drooling when the midnight cravings strike! There wasn’t a morsel left on my plate.       #LPLFavorite #FanMoment

Thai Grilled Chicken
The chicken was grilled to perfection and served with Wheat flatbread. This one took a slight backfoot when compared to it’s counterparts. Missed the Thai flavors, overall a decent dish.

• Spice Rubbed Fish

Its a huge chunk of Rawas Meat, absolutely #Recommended for seafood lovers. Rubbed with Cajun Spice and served with Mustard sauce – a great dish for Mains.

• Smoked Garlic Chicken Cannelloni

Kargo excels in its pasta preparations and the Cannelloni is definitely their best dish. The pasta is prepared in-house and is perfect in texture. The filling is adequately creamy lending the dish a very subtle flavor.

Chilli Lime Corn Wheels
A delightful dish in all aspects. Corn wheels rubbed with lime and chilli was wow! The idea of simply ‘presenting’ our very own ‘Bhutta’ in a top-notch manner is worthy of a pat on the chef’s back. A simple depiction of how simple flavors and dishes can be elevated to higher platforms, by mere culinary talent. Kudos! #LPLRecommends

Mango & Lime Pannacotta
This one was clearly the highlight. The flavor of fresh mangoes and the essence of lime is just taste-it-to-believe-it category. Also, the base consisting of passion fruit pulp is going to make you weak in the knees. #LPLRecommends #Speechless

Dark Chocolate & Orange Fondant
The flavor of orange fondant was evident and dark chocolate spells Love. No judgement here, I’m a dessert-person. You make the Dessert right and you have me right there.

Dark Chocolate & Espresso Ice cream
An In-House creation. We ordered this out of sheer delight that we experienced at Kargo. Can Ice cream ever go wrong? You know you have your answer.

We walked out smiling and you would too, if you were at Kargo. Wish you a Happy Dining Experience!
